- DO NOT shampoo for 24 hours after application or fills. Shampooing
before this time will cause extreme shedding.
- Allow a two week shedding period.
This process will slow down and in most cases stop completely.
- Shampoo, beginning at the scalp and
taking extra care to clean the nape area. If excessive matting occurs, try a
loose braid prior to shampooing.
- Apply conditioner to wet hair, with a
wide tooth comb, work roots to ends.
- Combing or brushing should be done
from the ends towards the scalp. A loop bristle brush works best. DO NOT attempt to comb through
extensions.
- DO NOT use a curling iron or a hot blow dryer directly on the hair
extension glue, as extension hair loss may occur.
- Extreme pulling of the extensions may
result in your own hair loss.
- Long hair should be put in a loose
braid before bed.
- In the event that an extension
becomes detached, save it for our next visit to the salon.
- We recommend extensions be removed in
3 to 4 months by a licensed, experienced, hair extension professional.
Attempting to remove the extensions yourself may result in damage to your own
hair and extensions.
